Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized the skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended the fight with a the TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. As for her final fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. In her next fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd won the fight at the start of round one, and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus. Her first major fight came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision as well as her Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. For a replacement last minute for her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
