Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican American born in El Paso. Her family has entertainment genes. Growing up, her family was full of television personalities, like Karla who was the host of Univision's Despierta America. (1997)) and family musicians and performers. Andrew Martinez is the vice director of Safety, Security and business Resiliency for Southern California Edison, one of America's largest electric utilities. SCE puts a lot of emphasis in the protection of employees as well as business security and resilience. Martinez provides safety managers throughout the entire company mentorship, top-quality training and guidance to assist them in reaching the goals for safety for their work group. Before assuming his current role Martinez was director for Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. In the past, he was director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. In his 30-year tenure working at SCE Martinez has held several leadership positions in corrective action and improvement initiatives, including positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) which focused on protecting workers and the public from risks.
